Character Information
Name: Marie Antoinette
Canon: Fate/Grand Order
Canon Point: after the battle against Demon God Pillars in the Grand Time Temple
Age: Marie was 37 at the time of her death. As Heroic Spirit, she is summoned in her prime and appears to be in her late teens
History: Her character is based on the historical Marie Antoinette. This means that the life story of the historical figure also applies to her. She was born as Maria Antonia in Vienna to Empress Maria Theresa and Francis I. At the age of 14, she married Louis Auguste, the heir to French throne. Four years later he ascended the throne as Louis XVI and Marie became the Queen of France. She had four children. Marie Antoinette became known for her lavish lifestyle and her reputation plummeted, especially after the Affair of the Diamond Necklace. All of this eventually led to the French Revolution. Monarchy was abolished and Marie was executed by guillotine.

Typemoon wiki covers her canon history but I will also provide a summary.
Marie appears in the Orleans Singularity and together with Amadeus aids the protagonists and Jeanne d'Arc in their fight against Jeanne Alter and the Servants with Mad Enhancement she summoned. One of these Servants is Charles-Henri Sanson, Marie's executioner. She encounters him and fights him with the help of the protagonists. After defeating Sanson, Marie reveals that even though he was the person directly responsible for her death, she holds no grudge against him. She is defeated by Jeanne Alter shortly after.

Together with many other Servants she appears to support the protagonists in the Grand Time Temple.

Personality: Marie has the persona of a natural idol. Bright, cheerful and friendly, she is the ray of sunshine in the lives of everyone who knows her. She is able to find silver lining in any situation and will always point to the positive aspects, no matter how gloomy things might get. She is always smiling, even when facing danger and death, like when she was defeated by Jeanne Alter in Orleans Singularity. She does not hold grudges and reacts positively to everyone, no matter how badly they treat her. This is evidenced by her interactions with Sanson, the executioner who took her life, but she regards him as her friend and companion.

Marie is very honest - she will always say what is on her mind and will not think about consequences. She is a free spirit who acts on impulses and does whatever she wants - it is not like as a queen she has to obey anyone's orders. When she likes someone, she will make her feelings known to them and not wonder if her affection is being returned or not. In general, she has a lot of love within herself and wishes to shower everyone with it - even if they might not be so willing to accept it, a least at first.

Because of how she is, Marie might be regarded by others as childish. However, she does know pain and suffering very well - she has experienced many hardships in her life and died a tragic death. However, she does not wish to touch upon these subjects unless necessary. Bringing it up or making her remember it will be the cause of the rare moments when she is upset and not smiling.

Despite everything, Marie only wishes for everyone's happiness. She has no intention to use the Holy Grail, the magical wish granting omnipotent device to change her own history and avoid her tragic fate. She views it as something that had to happen and her pain and suffering as something that is part of who she is. She is able to find positive sides even in her own tragedy and subconsciously expects others to be able to do the same, even though she does understand that it is usually impossible.

Marie does have a naive side, though - used to luxury and riches, she tends to have trouble understanding the hardships faced by common people. The historical Marie Antoinette is rumored to have said the phrase "let them eat cake" in response to hearing about food shortages among the peasants. Even though this line is very likely to be completly fictional and falsely attributed to her, it became a part of how she is perceived in society. This in turn is reflected in how she appears and acts when summoned as a Servant.

Marie finds it hard to understand that people's circumstances may vary. Whenever someone is suffering, she will not attempt to understand their specific situation. She honestly believes that everything can be solved by love, affection and positive thinking alone. This could and will lead to many situation where she unknowingly hurts others because they found her attitude inappropriate or felt as if Marie was mocking them.

Abilities & Skills:

Traits and abilities of a Servant: within the Fate/ universe Servants are high ranking familiars created by the Grail by making a sort of a copy of a Heroic Spirit, summoning them with emphasis on particular defining traits, which determine a Servant's Class. By making a contract with a Mage who will supply them with mana, Servants are able to manifest.

Servants are able to switch between physical and spiritual form, they also possess heightened mental and physical abilities. As a Rider Class Servant, Marie has a resistance to magic to some degree. She is also able to ride pretty much any vehicle or mounts - with the exception of dragons. Her personal skills Siren Song, Princess of Loveliness and Grace of God are themed around her charm. Her Noble Phantasm, which is a special ability or weapon of a Servant is called Guillotine Breaker. It represents the glory of French monarchy and heals allies while also dealing damage to the opponents.

As a child, Marie was taught how to play several instruments. She can also sing. She spoke German, French and most likely Italian as well.

Inventory/Companions: The fancy outfit and jewelry she usually has on her person, nothing more than that.

Choice: Should I get the permission, Fae. My second choice for her would be a vampire.
Reason: For Fae, my reasoning is that Marie's concept as a Servant is "idol queen" and she is full of natural charm and radiance which is often referenced in her descriptions and by other characters. In addition to that, Marie is quite doll-like already in appearance and style.

She is also very positive and happy by nature, despite meeting a tragic end in life. However, as a queen used to luxuries and riches, Marie can and will complain about the tiniest inconveniences she will encounter in Aefenglom.

By having her transform into a fae I wish to emphasize on these traits of hers.

If Fae is not an option, my reasoning for vampire would be that even with all her optimism and love for her people, she had a taste for luxury while her subjects were suffering in poverty, so her becoming a vampire could symbolically reflect her "feeding on life force" from people of France. In addition to that, as a bright and positive person, she would struggle with her bleak and depressing transformation.
